Andrew Lawson joined Capario in September 2008. He brings more than 30 years of management experience and financial expertise, working with companies in the United States, United Kingdom and Europe. His career encompasses executive management positions across numerous industries, including healthcare information technology, manufacturing and distribution.
Adhering to a teamwork philosophy that has proven successful in guiding astute business decisions, Lawson listens to the expertise of team members as well as to the voice of the healthcare market. At Capario he leads with a vision that clearly marks the course and is punctuated with the incremental objectives necessary to achieving corporate goals.
Prior to Capario, Lawson worked with Misys Healthcare Systems from 1999 through 2007, most recently overseeing integration of the company’s acquisition of a claims transaction system. He also served as president of the Misys Hospital Systems Division, a leading developer of clinical solutions for acute care providers. Lawson held several other key senior management roles within the Misys organization, including senior vice president of business integration and chief operating officer. He led Misys Healthcare Systems in the operational integration of acute care clinical information management solutions, creating the fifth largest healthcare information technology company in the United States.
Troy Burns joined Capario in 2009 as chief technology officer, bringing more than 15 years of healthcare technology experience in applying the latest technologies to electronic data interchange (EDI) and revenue cycle management applications. At Capario he provides strategic oversight for development of the company's entire portfolio of revenue cycle management solutions and is always investigating additional opportunities for automating processes. His responsibilities focus on producing and maintaining superior products that enable healthcare organizations to operate more efficiently and expedite revenue cycle processes.
Before joining Capario, Burns was chief information officer of Payerpath, a Web-based healthcare claims clearinghouse. He was responsible for managing the development and maintenance of multiple data centers and the company’s transaction services products for healthcare providers and payers.
In addition to his professional experience with healthcare technology companies, Burns has also been involved in numerous healthcare technology professional organizations. He served on the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC) Board of Commissioners for more than four years.
Lonnie Hardin has been with Capario since November 1997 when he joined in connection with the acquisition of US Health Data Interchange, Inc. (USHDI). Gaining a broad base of management experience within Capario, Hardin has served in roles that include senior vice president of field claims operations from 1997 to 2000 and senior vice president of payer services from 2000 to 2005. During his six years with USHDI, he held the positions of vice president of sales and marketing and general manager.
Currently, as Capario's executive vice president of operations, Hardin is responsible for establishing and maintaining a professional organization that promotes productivity, leverages teamwork, builds an environment of success and rewards employees for high customer satisfaction ratings. He is always seeking ways to improve the customer experience and ensure that clients are equipped with the needed tools to tackle their business challenges.
Hardin helps advance industry efforts focused on improving electronic communications. He serves on the board of directors for EHNAC and also is active in the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI).
Since 2005, Eric Arnson has led product management initiatives for all of Capario's product lines. As vice president of product management & business development, Arnson oversees business development initiatives, including business partnerships and acquisitions. A strong believer in the mantra that success is rooted in listening to the customer first, he solicits client feedback to ensure Capario's products and services address the market's most urgent and pervasive needs.
Arnson joined Capario in 1998 in conjunction with the acquisition of Key Communications Service, Inc., a leading provider of remote results delivery solutions for the clinical lab industry. Arnson held a number of other positions within Capario, most recently as vice president and general manager of lab services. Other roles at the company included product manager, vice president of corporate marketing and vice president of operations for lab services.
Angela McKenna joined Capario in 2006 to manage the payer, provider and vendor partner account management teams. As Vice President of Account Management, she has been a key advocate of redesigning Capario's customer service organization to deliver a better customer experience by using a team approach. From sales to on-going service delivery, McKenna focuses on assembling and assigning the types of skilled personnel that best match the customer's support needs. She offers Capario more than 25 years experience in the healthcare industry and serves as the Vice President of Cooperative Exchange’s Executive Committee, providing expertise in member services and working with its member organizations to promote electronic transactions for the healthcare industry.
Prior to joining Capario, McKenna was vice president of business development for Edifecs, Inc., where she was responsible for healthcare channel partner recruitment and management. Before Edifecs, McKenna spent 14 years at WebMD, (previously ENVOY/NEIC) as vice president of corporate accounts and vice president of account management.
Jim Riley joined the Capario management team in 2008 and brings more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare, technology and business services sectors. At Capario he leverages his strong background in healthcare IT sales and marketing and extensive industry knowledge to help management define a new market focus for Capario solutions. Additionally, he helps build and direct a sales team trained on driving market awareness and achieving growth expectations.
Prior to Capario, Riley oversaw strategy for all aspects of Payerpath’s sales and marketing initiatives. While at Payerpath, he launched a national sales campaign and built a nationwide sales force that achieved growth rates well in excess of 100 percent year after year. In addition to his Payerpath experience, Riley held various sales and leadership positions at National Data Corporation, Inc. (NDC) and Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP).
With her appointment to vice president of Capario human resources in 2006, Karen Rocchi joined the senior management team and has served for more than eight years in Capario's human resources department. Today she heads the department and promotes a workplace environment where associates are viewed as the company's most important asset.
Rocchi came to Capario in 2000 as human resources manager and was actively involved in company mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Rocchi worked for Western Medical Management Group where she led its human resources department. Prior to that, she held various positions at ADP within the employer and dealer services divisions of the organization.
